Family Matters

This past Sunday was quite a gathering of my extended family. My father’s uncle was visiting from Korea so we had a huge family dinner on Sunday. It was nice to see all the family gathered together in what seemed like years! Some of my family visited from Vancouver and I hadn’t seen them in probably over 10 years. It was good to speak with my cousins and get to know them a little bit because they moved away when they were so young. It’s funny how awkward family gatherings can be at first but joy and laughter soon follows.

I think it’s important to keep in touch with close and extended family as well. Sometimes we, as humans forget the importance of family and the joy that family can bring in our lives. This Sunday was definitely a good time for me to reflect on the importance of family. I had a great time.

Other than that, my past few weeks have been quite eventless. Finishing midterms was great, and now it’s time for finals! I hope everyone’s midterms have finished or are in the process of finishing! And to anyone in high school, good luck with university applications! Anyways, I will be trying to study for finals now as there are only 3 weeks left!
